Octavia Butler's advice on dealing with writers' block? "Fall in love. Why not? You're already miserable." |

To heck with International Talk Like a Pirate Day. I want to have International Talk Like a DALEK Day. That would be much cooler. |

Please allow me to introduce myself. I'm a man of wealth and taste...uh, nevermind.
Been awhile, I know, but I've been busy, and thought it best to make a point of knowing where I hang out of the 'net. So:
Blog - other than this, there is my Tumblr blog, which incorporates my Blogspot feed.
Social Networking - I've been on Facebook for over a year now (time flies, etc.), and I've been using Twitter for some weeks now. I still have a MySpace profile, but I'm winding that down in favour of highlighting the creative output below. (I do have a Windows Live profile for IM purposes, but that's the extent of my chattiness.)
Creative - The last couple of months have seen me venture into the world of mashups/bootlegs, with some success. Most of them can be streamed/downloaded via SoundCloud, or my Blogspot feed above . My nascent YouTube channel is also an outlet to display my wares. (Oh, I'm on imeem, as well.)
As for the success part: a few weeks ago, the second mashup that I put together (as in ever) was selected for the Bootie Top 10 for March just gone. (I would have mentioned it sooner, but there were some 'technical difficulties', for lack of a better term.) I have received an enormous amount of positive feedback about this, and the mashup in question (right at the top via the link above) seems to be quite popular. So I'm fairly proud.
As the song says, life goes on... |

Please note: these are meant in jest, and should be taken with a grain of salt (or maybe a shaker of salt and a tequila shot)! All the good booze is gone If all you have left to drink is generic beer, it's time to head home. 80's songs are all that you're hearing You don't really need to hear 'Summer of 69' or 'Living On A Prayer' for the umpteenth time, do you? You're having an in-depth conversation with someone you usually avoid ...and, through the drunken haze, you're agreeing with what the other person is saying. That hot girl you've been eyeing all night? She's either puking her guts out, passed out, or making out with someone that's not you. Her less attractive friend who's been following you all night? She's starting to look good. Really good. Supermodel good.

Take me home - I'm not an outdoors person. Oh sure, i have no doubt that I'd get fit, but y'know, no internet...yeah, I'd be on the boat post haste! |
